I was talking with a friend a couple weeks ago, and something came out of my mouth that I’ve thought a lot about since… I told her that I often see two extremes in the world of horse ownership. In one camp are the owners who run a dictatorship where they’re at the top, and their horse is at the bottom - a citizen without any constitutional rights. Even if the owner has good intentions, their horse’s needs and feelings are often ignored.
